Hi! I’m Iya. Children and pet photographer extraordinaire and the artist behind Iya Estrellado Photography!
Happily married to my college sweetheart, Mike for over a decade and are proud parents to two sweet Boston Terriers - Maya and Jackjack.
My art is heavily influenced by my childhood growing up in a small province back in my home country - The Philippines. Yes, proud Filipina here - born and raised there and can speak Tagalog and a local dialect fluently ;)
Why children and pet photography? Photographing pets and little ones is such a fantastic way of life. Both are so transparent, candid, easily distracted and each brings a challenge to a photo session and I just love it! They are just so authentic as subjects and creating one of a kind art is just so rewarding and brings me pure and utter joy.
I spend a large majority of my time shooting, but when I’m not, you can find me spending time with my husband and Jackjack. We love going on long drives, watching Marvel movies, visiting museums and indulging in True Crime television.
We are so excited to call Virginia Beach home, and I look forward to creating everlasting memories with you soon!
