Sessions last up to 2 hours, and during our time together, we’ll laugh, play games, and chase the little ones, capturing storytelling images of you and your beautiful family. We’ll take a mix of candid and posed pictures, documenting this special time for you and your loved ones! Sessions are held Monday through Saturday, giving you plenty of flexibility to find a time that works best.

Two weeks after our session, we’ll schedule a convenient time for you to view your images on Zoom. During this appointment, you can view, select, and purchase your favorite images and wall art!
Your session includes one complimentary Zoom appointment. Please note, a $100 rescheduling fee applies for last-minute cancellations (48 hours or less).

Common FAQs
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: My journey with photography started back in 2014 when my husband surprised me with a DSLR and I instantly fell in love with capturing moments and life's story as I traveled around with my family. But it wasn't until 2018 that I took it on as a full time-career. Overall, in business now for over 7 years : )
Q: How many sessions have you photographed?
A: I've been so fortunate to have worked with so many amazing families in my career as a photographer. To date, I've had over 200 child and family sessions. And since there's only 52 weekends in a year, my weekends have been basically filled with laughters from the littles ones and celebrating beautiful families ever since I became a photographer 6 years ago!
Q: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK?
A: My style is colorful but more than that I love to highlight the storytelling aspect of an image. My goal is to produce simple yet timeless images for my clients. During our session, I aim for a mix of lifestyle and posed images.
Q: Are you self taught?
A: No, I have been fortunate to have been mentored by several amazing photographers. I have also attended several workshops in person and online as I'm always looking to improve my craft to deliver great quality service to my clients.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use two Nikon Z cameras with several prime lenses. Both are literally on me at all times throughout our session day so changing batteries or switching lenses is quick and easy. Every moment matters - and this is where the years of experience really kicks in.
Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, etc?
A: Absolutely! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery!
Q: what happens if it rains on our session day?
Living in Virginia Beach, the weather can be unpredictable. With that said, if we are unable to do your session due to to inclement weather we will reschedule to a later date.
Q: How do I book you for a session?
A: Love that question the most! To book a session with me all I require is a signed contract and $200 retainer.

You will receive 20 high-resolution digital photographs two weeks after our session date from where you can select and purchase your favorite images. A personal-use print release is included with your digital files purchase, and all of my years of experience to help ensure everything is both super fun & super smooth along the way. And if you want heirloom artwork or additional prints, it's all there for you, too!
